ArsKosova Music Competition for Youth – International Competition of Classical Music – Prishtina, Kosova
Discipline: COMPOSITION
Categories:
Category I – Includes participants up to the age of 18,
Category II – Includes participants 19 – 22 years old,
Category III – Includes participants 23 – 26 years old.
In the first category can be applied with works for solo instrument or duo (any instrument or combination) *
In the second category can be applied with works for trio or quartet (any combination) *
In the third category can be applied with works for quintets or chamber orchestra (any combination) *
Rules:
1. The competition is open to composers of all nationalities,
2. Composers can apply with more than one work,
3. Competing works may be previously published,
4. Scores must be sent anonymously (under a pseudonym),
5. Applicants must send electronically (to the email address: arskosova.foundation@gmail.com):
5.1. Score (title only and pseudonym)
5.2. A signed document which contains the data of the applicant (name, surname, age, short biography, nationality, title and nickname of the work as well as an explanation of the work,
5.3. Participation fee:
5.3.1. Category I: 25 Euro
5.3.2. Category II: 25 Euro
5.3.3. Category III: 25 Euro
* Instruments used in formations are preferably orchestral instruments. Use of Live electronics or Tape is not permitted.

The jury decision is final.
The deadline for application is 01.07.2021
The results on the winning works will be published on 20.07.2021
