c) One piece from an Albanian composer / composer from the region where participant comes from, or a contemporary piece

3rd Category
a) J. S. Bach – One small preludium
b) One etude
c) One piece by personal preference

DURATION for the category: max. 12 minutes

4th Category
a) J. S. Bach – One 2 or 3 voices Invention
b) One classical sonatina or one movement from a classical sonata (1st or 3rd)
c) One piece by personal preference

DURATION for the category: max. 15 minutes

5th Category
a) J. S. Bach – One preludium and one fugue from “ Das wohltemperierte Klavier”
b) One movement from a classical sonata (the 1st or 3rd)
c) One etude
d) One piece by personal preference

6th Category
a) J. S. Bach – One preludium and one fugue from “ Das wohltemperierte Klavier”
b) One movement of a sonata from W.A.Mozart, L.van Beethoven or F.Schubert (the 1st or 3rd)

e) One piece of the XXth century

7th Category
PROGRAM – in TWO ROUNDS

FIRST ROUND:
a) J. S. Bach – One preludium and one 4 voices fugue from “ Das wohltemperierte Klavier”
b) One etude from F.Chopin, F. Liszt, S. Rachmaninov or A. Skrjabin
c) One sonata (complete) of the classical, romantic style, or from XXth century
d) One piece by personal preference

SECOND ROUND:
a) One concert for piano and orchestra (1st movement) from W. A. Mozart or L. van Beethoven

a) Same as the 4th Category, or one Paganini Capriccio for solo violin,
and
b) One ore more pieces by personal preference

a) One Capriccio of either one of the selection: Rode, Paganini or Wieniavsky
b) R. Dhomi: Theme with variations nr.1 for solo violin

a) Sonata (for violin and piano) from Baroque, Classical, Romantic period, or 20th century / or 1st, 2nd and 3rd movement of any concerto from any musical period

b) Obligatory piece:
Akil Koci “ Reflexes” for violin solo

c) One technically difficult piece (Bravura) for violin and piano (or solo violin), or
1st, or 2nd and 3rd movement of any concerto for violin and orchestra / piano.

An aria from an opera
One piece by personal preference

4th Category

Three songs, obligatory is: G. Caccini ”Amarilli”

DURATION for the category: max. 15 – 17 minutes

In the SECOND ROUND of the 4th Category these pieces are to be added:
A cycle of selected songs
An aria from an opera – personal preference

Note: For all categories (solo singing), it is preferred to include one piece of an Albanian composer / composer from the region where the participant comes from, or a contemporary piece, which is not obligatory.
